SUNDAY SERVICE SPEAKERS
Carla Palmer is an ordained interfaith minister and licensed Unity teacher. She has taught on many levels throughout her careers. She was an environmental educator training high school teachers, a professor of environmental engineering, and now a Unity spiritual teacher and companion. Carla studied native American shamanism with her Apache teacher of fourteen years and loves to lead sacred ceremonies. Collaborating with creative people is one of her favorite things to do. Rev. Greg Barrette was born and raised in Unity and has been a Unity minister for forty-three years. Formerly the Director of the International Youth of Unity, Greg was elected President of four Unity regions, Vice President of the International New Thought Alliance and has led some of Unity's most successful ministries, including Unity of Delray Beach, Renaissance Unity in Warren Michigan and Unity of Overland Park Kansas. He is a Certified Healthy Congregations Facilitator. Greg currently teaches for the Center for Enlightenment and is a staff writer for Daily Word Magazine. Hank Lewis is a Licensed Unity Teacher (LUT) at Unity of Central Florida in Orlando and is the Spiritual Director of Serving Ministers and Ministries Collaborative. He regularly speaks at Unity churches in the Southeast. Hank is the Assistant Director of Academic Program Quality at the University of Central Florida where he is responsible for university and unit-level accreditation. Ryan Hope Travis, or RHT, is a Teacher and a Maker. He is an Assistant Professor at Florida State University and a filmmaker, theatre-maker, actor, and director. His students call him "Teach." And that ideal ("to teach") grounds every aspect of his life. To teach is to learn. And, to learn means you surrender (perpetually) to Divine Mind and the Divine Flow, both of which RHT is devoted. Terence Young Terence is a New Thought Transformational Speaker, Musician, Author, and Workshop Facilitator. He is a long time member of Unity in North Tampa where he served on the Leadership Council, youth programming, and on the music team, sharing his talent on the guitar, piano and drums. Terence has earned various certificates and credentials in leadership, organizational development, and coaching. He published his first book in October of 2017 titled; “The Time Is Always NOW – The Ultimate Guide to Becoming Physically, Spiritually & Financially Free”. Rev. Marcia McCartney Rev. Marcia’s passion is supporting humanity in rediscovering the part each of us plays in our Divine Oneness. For over 30 years, she has been a spiritual midwife for people who desire to deepen and expand their experience of life with the Infinite Creative Spirit within. As a Unity Minister, Marcia has encouraged the practice of Spiritual Truth taught by the great mystical traditions. She has been honored to serve as senior minister of three Unity ministries in Chicago, Gainesville and Citrus County Florida. |
