History of the Rose Prayer Centre
The Rose Prayer Centre was named for Rose Aullenbach, the sister of our first minister, Rev. Joseph Bettencourt. She, along with their sister Mary Vena, ran the Unity of Gainesville prayer ministry until their transitions.
The Rose Prayer Centre started in 1983.
When you placed a prayer request in the Prayer Chest, within 5 days 40 volunteers of the Rose Prayer Centre received it and held it in prayer for 30 days!
After 30 days of prayer, the request was sent to Silent Unity for an additional 30 days of prayer.
When urgent prayer requests were received, within 24 hours all 40 prayer-volunteers PLUS Silent Unity began praying for you.
Letters of prayer support were sent, as well as birthday cards, get well cards, sympathy cards, and other appropriate cards.
The Master Mind Prayer Circle met in the “Upper Room” every Sunday morning.
